Double room available at queer house in Stratford

Short version:

Subletting my room for four months to anyone that identifies as a woman, trans folx, genderqueer, non-binary AND meets our household criteria. PLEASE read thoroughly till the end. Messages without the required info about yourself will be ignored. PLEASE stop wasting my time by asking me if the room is available or if you can arrange a viewing without even introducing yourself.

Long version:

Dear wonderful humans, we are looking for a non-smoking, trans-positive, body & sex positive, clean & tidy short-term housemate (woman, trans folx, genderqueer, non-binary) that will take care of the home, have initiative, be autonomous, clean after themselves and be responsible for their share of communal load. Our household is free from stimulants (including alcohol and plant stuff).

Housemates:

I am Eddie (they/them), a gender fluid white person who works in tree health by day and is an artist/zinester/costume maker/performer-type-person the rest of the time. Increasingly making Halloween a year-round lifestyle choice.

I am Nkara (he/they) gender-fluid black person. Drama school student, actor, singer dancer. I do that all day everyday if I’m not writing, seeing shows, seeing friends or working part-time at a gallery.

Double room available from Dec 1st till March 31st (4 months).
£500 (£200 deposit) including bills.

Please note that the low market price is due to most of my belongings staying in the room. There will be limited storage (desk and shelves). Suitable for anyone working locally on a short-term project, exploring the area, traveling, etc.

Contract: written agreement directly with me. References needed. NO LIVING ROOM.

Location: Zone 2/3, 10 minutes walk from Stratford High Street DLR and 15 minutes walk to Stratford (tube, overground, DLR). 24 hour to Central London. 3 cycle paths. Friendly residential neighbourhood. 5" from the canal.

Access: not wheelchair friendly as it has steps (at the entrance, between the two corridors and to the garden - a big step). There is no phone entry system nor other visual/hearing impairment adaptations.

Location is superb. We are surrounded by stations, 5 of them. Access to 3 different cycle routes, one by the canal! Wholefood shop in Stratford shopping centre only 10 minutes by foot. The Olympic park is just round the corner by bike, 5 mins. Buses to central London at the end of the road. Local mainstream and independent shops a block away.

Note: By stimulants we mean drugs and alcohol. The occasional wine / beer and/or cooking with alcohol is ok. We want to be on a similar wavelength and our home to feel safe. Coffee, tea and chocolate are certainly welcome.
